Journal Eight

In Journal Eight I wrote about a ten year old boy named Colin Duffy. I wrote about what we had in common and our differences. In the second paragraph I created a ten year old girl named Bella and I wrote about her life and the positives and negatives.
The Life of A Ten Year Old!
I actually had a lot in common with Colin Duffy. He was a very outgoing and spontaneous young boy. He loved hanging out with his friends, and playing like any normal child. Collin had big dreams as did I when I was younger. He was also a very curious ten year old who had a broad imagination. Colin was a very mature ten year old whereas I had big dreams I don’t know that I was quiet as mature as he is. Colin also cared a lot about the world and recycling, I don’t think recycling ever crossed my mind as a ten year old. Colin was also very intelligent and cared about how well he performed in school. When I was ten the last thing I cared about was school, I was more worried about when the bell was going to ring so I could go home and play. Colin and I were very similar yet very different, but in my eyes we were both just your average ten year olds.

She was a very rich per say well not her but her family was very wealthy. Bella a ten year old from Los Angeles California came from a very wealthy family. She attended a private performing arts school with inspiring dreams of becoming a singer/actress. At the age of ten Bella’s family as well as Bella expected nothing less than perfect out of her. Bella had many friends at school, but they never hung out outside of school. Bella was involved in dance and acting outside of school which consumed all of her time. Bella met straight A grades while also having a perfect attendance, and she never acted out of line. This probably seems like the perfect child with the perfect life but deep down Bella is miserable because all she wants is a little free time to herself or to just hang out with some of her friends. She has big dreams but she is not getting a chance to just be a child she is being force to grow up way to fast.
