My family doesn't really hold expectations for me. They've always encourages to make the right decisions and to work hard in school. Its I was to make a mistake, they would tell me to try harder next time. It's really great to have parents that don't necesarily tell me what they want, but what they would like from me. They trust me to make the right choices on my own. And they help me to do that by guiding me in the right path.
When I decided to join Post Secondary at UC Clermont, my parents were very proud of me. Right now, they expect me to give it my all. They want me to study hard, do all my homework, and get passing grades. I know that this will be a positive experience for me, mostly because this will help me in my future. I'm really lucky to have parents that hold expectations for me, but are never forced upon me. Therefore I believe that any expectations for me in the future will also be positive, and help me become a more responsible person.
