Response to Annie Dillard
The author explains what she wants to do with her life. She says that her choice is not to keep a clean house, becuase there is more to life than worrying about the little things. She believes the life is too short to live the way everyone else does. In her opinion, she thinks that living out of the norm is the way to live. When talking to her audience she assumes that they hold different values because the author gives the choice to the reader. Readers that would be apt to feeling excluded would be those who believe in living in the norm.
