My Passion

This short story is about something I am passionate about.

The thing I am most passionate about or my biggest hobby would be cars. I have always liked older cars that are built to race. I have been to a lot of car shows and my favorite part is the drag racing. My father has always worked on cars and trucks and I thought it was very interesting. I didn’t really become passionate about cars until I met my boyfriend Corey.

Corey loves older cars! When we met he had a 64 Impala SS, it was really nice and fast. We took it to a couple car shows. It was so fun to ride around in. Everyone would always look as we went by, more like stare because of the cars beauty. Corey got his Impala SS when he was 15 and had it until he turned 21. He sold it so someone in Dayton, so he could buy a 67 Nova which is worth a lot more money. Corey wants to turn the Nova into a gasser, make it built for the drag strip.

After Corey is done with his car, then he will begin on mine. I want a Tudor Model-A Sedan. You can only buy the body so you have to make the frame out of box tubing. Corey will be doing most of the work, but I will definitely help anyway I can. It will have a traditional style with a rat rod influence. It will be very nice, low to the ground and black with some pink pin striping. I can’t wait for it to be done so we both have something to drive to car shows. I love having nice things that other people are interested in. Some people may not have any idea what kind of cars these are or think that they aren’t anything special, but they are. You take either one of these cars to a car show and people would be jealous.

I love cars especially older ones, they are very interesting to me. I love learning new things about cars and engines. I like nice cars that go really fast. It is a fun experience going to car shows and the drag strip. That’s why I am so passionate about it.
